Mir looked up into Babette’s eyes and said, “We have the rest of our lives, they only have tonight. I’m more nervous than Ko because of it.”
“I’m nervous too. I like you so much,” Babette admitted and tried to block out Jade and Ko. She put her hands on Mir’s head though and said, “But I would like that too, please. Then maybe I’ll scream in the same way as well.”
Mir stroked the silver paint across her sex, absently, “And do you touch yourself thinking about me? Do you run your fingers through this fur?”
Babette was relieved there was silver paint on her face as she was sure her face was red at the thought and that he had said the word ‘fur’. She would tell him later never to call it that again. “Often,” she replied breathlessly.
He didn’t break eye contact with her, put one of his fingers at the entrance to her vagina, and felt her wetness, “And even the thought brings you pleasure.”
Babette couldn’t speak. She just watched Mir. He ran his tongue all along her abdomen, kissing and licking. Silver paint intermixed with saliva. She got goosebumps after his tongue had run over her skin and she felt she could stay there all night; she didn’t care about the disciples chanting or Jade and Ko rutting like farm animals in the corner. She only had eyes for Mir now.
Mir began to gently lick Babette with his cool tongue on her vulva, skirting around her clitoris. She moved his head straight over to her clitoris after he was actively avoiding it.
It didn’t take long for Babette to realize why Jade was screaming. Mir had something on his tongue, some kind of enhancer or drug or something that felt so good it was making her clitoris tingle with pleasure, almost like she was numb but numb in a very sensitive way. Whatever it was, it was driving her to be on the brink of multiple orgasms like she had never felt before. She really did feel like she was with a god now. Babette lost all of her inhibitions then and directed Mir just as Jade had done for Ko and couldn’t help but think, Now I know why you were screaming this Jade, “Suck right there and don’t stop. Yes.” Babette came and it was so intense she wondered at the last minute if it was possible to have a heart attack from such an intense orgasm.
Mir stroked Babette until she relaxed a little around him. He loved the silver paint on her skin with the pink inside her mouth and sex when he saw it, it was the most alluring color combination.
Babette’s hand ran down Mir’s silvery slick body, and her hand found his ridged penis. She began stroking it and was moving to take it into her mouth until he stopped her, “Never,” he whispered. “It goes against the gods.”
Babette was confused, “But you are a god, can’t you make your own rules?” She tried again to take his penis into her mouth and he moved her away with his hands, she looked up at him and said, “I wasn’t going to bite.”
He gave her a small smile and then simply kissed her. Chastely at first but then increasing his desire and his hands all over her body. Drawing her close to him. Their oily bodies rubbing sensually against one another, creating a tingly desire between them.
"Please,” Babette said to Mir, “I want you inside of me.”
Mir put her on her side then and moved behind her. His hands cupping her breasts as he entered her. They were facing the disciples chanting. They changed their chant as he entered her.
“Open your eyes and look, Babette.”
That was the last thing that Babette wanted to do. She wanted to close her eyes and pretend this was a recording, not that all of these people were watching her ride out her pleasure again and again with Mir.
Mir stopped moving inside of her and pulled out.
She instinctively and desperately moved her body towards his wet penis, wet from her desire. Her body was screaming towards his.
“Open your eyes, and you’ll get what you want,” Mir said evenly. This hurt him too, but the ritual must be completely correctly. She must witness it.
Babette opened her eyes and looked at Mir’s green eyes surrounded by silver paint. Then she looked at the disciples chanting their new tune.
Mir entered her again, and it felt so good she almost closed her eyes again but forced herself to have them open and witness this wantonness. As she looked at the disciples chanting and watching them she was embarrassed not for what they were doing but the small pleasure she took in all these people watching her and Mir have sex. All kinds of things were swimming through her mind then, and words like, ‘whore’, ‘beastly’, and ‘depraved’ kept coming into her mind and it didn’t repulse her. Who am I? she wondered again.
Mir realized that she didn’t understand why she needed her eyes open, “You must make your own memory of this. If we must prove it, doctors can look into our memories, and our memories must be the same. Try to enjoy it. I think it’s more painful for them to watch than us to do.”
Babette doubted that very much but focused on one of the disciple's face, he was watching them with such intensity Babette wondered if he would think about this later with his hand on his penis. Then she couldn’t think anymore as she orgasmed again.
Babette’s second orgasm brought on his and then he gently laid down next to her.
The disciples all said in unison, “Blessed be the god of darkness who has sanctioned this marriage. Let it be known the god of peace has found his wife. May the god of darkness grant you many daughters and happiness.”
Babette sat up as they spoke and then watched them leave bewildered.
Ko and Jade then said together, “Blessed be the god of darkness who has sanctioned your marriage. We have witnessed it for you and are bound to the secret.”
Then they left together, Probably to find a shower, Babette thought. And then said, “What now? We are married, right?”
Mir kissed Babette passionately and then stood up, helping her up after him, “We are most definitely married. And one of the best parts about getting married in the Underworld is the hot springs. There is a room waiting for us. And we can bathe. It’s not the same as a four-week long honeymoon, but we will at least have the rest of tonight.”
Babette smiled and took his hand, helping her up, “Is that where Jade and Ko have gone?”
“Probably, they have a room too. This is a secret time for them as well. Even if they don’t have sex again, they can still interact without class, in a way they never could in the outside world.”
“Did they have to have sex as our witnesses? I’ve never heard of that before,” Babette asked, she had read everything in her handbook about marriage ceremonies and that had never been mentioned.
“No, but since they could be put to death as punishment for supporting us, most people do. And Ko and I put an elixir on our bodies and tongue to interact with the silver paint. Jade would have had to really dislike Ko not to react to it.”
“I wondered,” Babette smiled. “I’ve never felt numb and sensitive at the same time. Was that all?”
“Yes, the rest was the work of the gods. I was nervous though,” Mir admitted as he tried to decide which hallway to take to their rooms.
“Haven’t you done this millions of times as the reincarnate of something?”
He led her down a hallway, saying quietly, “I think it’s this way. There are never disciples around when you actually need to ask someone for directions.” As he found their way, he replied, “I usually don’t marry like this, and it’s not as if I remember everything clearly. It’s difficult to explain. I am, and I’m not a god.”
Babette stopped, “They weren’t just saying that? I thought it was an exaggeration. That you had some mind-reading abilities like the doctors, but you could make blue flames and remember your past lives or think you can, but now you are telling me you might really be an actual god?”
“Babette, let’s go into the hot spring with some wine, and I'll explain everything to you,” he smiled hoping she would remember their past lives too.
“Why are you smiling?” Are you joking with me?”
“No, not at all. I just had déjà vu of the la
st twenty times we married, and you asked me the same thing. However, you never had blue eyes and light hair then.”
“I can’t believe you. You’re making me nervous. Prove to me you are who you say you are, so I don’t feel like this is just a big joke on me, the human.”
Mir looked at her standing naked in the stone corridor covered in silver paint with the strong scent of sex and thought, I will remember this for lifetimes to come. Then he stretched out his hands and cast all kinds of beautiful lights around them, at first, they were like blue fire, as she had seen before, but then he asked, “Tell me which flower from Earth is your favorite?”
“Daisies,” she said impressed with his show.
And in an instant, they were standing among daisies, hundreds of daisies in the stone Alliance corridor. She touched one and was astonished, “It’s real.”
“It’s not real. It’s an illusion of reality.”
“It feels real,” Babette picked one up and smelled it. “It doesn’t smell, though. Can I keep this?”
“I don’t know what they smell like. You can keep that one. My wedding gift to you.” Then with a swish of his wrist, they were all gone.
“How do you know what daisies look like?”
“When I asked you, you imagined them.”
“Can you read minds? Can you read my mind? Have you been reading my mind all this time?”
“No,” Mir replied and then explained, “What I mean to say is that I can read minds, but just like everything else, I don’t do it unless it’s necessary. I’m here to live a mortal life. Now Wife, no more questions. I’m your Mir, never doubt it. I’m everything I told you, and I’m very much looking forward to spending the night with you, not sleeping.”
Babette cradled the daisy in her hands and smiled, “I’m looking forward to you washing this silver paint off of me with lots of soap in a hot spring with wine. I think that is definitely worth four weeks of honeymoon.”
Mir smiled and escorted her into the luxurious stone bedroom, lit only by candlelight and with a large hot spring bath for two, “Come Wife.”
Secret Married Life
Babette and Mir walked out of the Underworld with Jade and Ko the next evening. As they passed the stone forest, Mir and Ko began touching the stone trees to bring them to light, and a soft humming noise could be heard all around them on the cobblestone path.
“I’m happy for the light after walking in the Underworld,” Babette said. “But what do the lights mean?”
“It’s only ceremonial. That we’ve returned from the Underworld,” explained Ko.
“And the humming sound?” asked Jade.
“That the world welcomes us, like a kiss,” said Mir.
Jade and Babette gave each other knowing looks that said, ‘And-this-is-the-usual-strange-Alliance-rituals-we-will-never-understand.’
Once they reached the transports, Ko’s transport was next to Mir’s, they all said ‘goodbye.’ Even though Jade and Babette were both going back to House Human, they couldn’t arrive together. Ko was going to go to The Earth Store and make it appear like he was shopping there, and Jade would make her way back from the store. Mir would take Babette as far as the Imperial Ring, so it would look like she had spent the whole night and day with Doctor James.
After dinner at House Human, Jade came to Babette’s room.
“You so owe me,” Jade said as she sat down in a chair.
“I’m sorry. I hope it wasn’t too traumatic having to have sex with a handsome man who trains the Imperial Guards. I could see you hesitating,” Babette said sarcastically.
Jade laughed, “Thank the gods that he was strong and handsome. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have been able to get married. The next time I’m asked to witness a marriage, I am going to ask for more details upfront.”
“I had no idea that you would have to participate,” Babette said and then asked, “How did you leave it with Ko?”
“What do you mean?”
“I mean when he dropped you at the Earth Store.”
“I told him ‘goodbye,’ and he told me that he would visit my restaurant when it opened because he likes food,” Jade smiled. “You know we can’t even be friends with these strict class rules.”
“I know,” Babette said a bit sadly. “Would you have liked to see him again?”
“It doesn’t matter because it’s impossible. And the way he left it made me think he wasn’t interested in seeing me again more than in a professional way. I think for him, it was just an Underworld marriage witness one-night stand.”
“When you say it like that, you make it sound like we are witches flying to an evil island to dance around bonfires naked and have orgies.”
Jade looked at Babette for a second waiting for her to realize what she had just said, “Didn’t we do almost just that? I mean, the man you married has some kind of magical powers, and we did get naked, granted there was no bonfire, but there were a lot of candles, and it was in a cave. And we did have almost an orgy, right? What would we call that?”
“I don’t know,” admitted Babette. “I’ve never done anything like that before.”
“Me neither,” Jade said but then added, “But it was definitely worth the risk. That room afterward. So romantic.”
“And the hot spring?”
“Yes,” replied Jade enthusiastically. “I don’t know how many times we had sex in that thing as we tried to get the silver paint off. It was definitely a night I will never forget.”
“It sounds like I don’t owe you much then,” Babette laughed. “By the way,” she said, taking out Jade’s hair clip from a drawer, “Thank you for this.”
“No problem. I hope that it brought you luck.”
“What do you think?” asked Babette.
“We are all still alive. So far, it’s doing its duty. I would say,” Jade smiled. “By the way, what’s the deal with your husband?” she whispered the word ‘husband.’
“I don’t know really,” Babette said thoughtfully. “Tomorrow at the library I’m going to do some research. We didn’t do much talking after the ceremony either.”
“Right?” Jade smiled. “That hot spring. I would almost marry out of my class just to go back to that. And the way that the silver paint came off in the water after some scrubbing. Oh, my skin felt so alive.”
Babette blushed. She and Mir had also appreciated that. Their skin had been so sensitive to touch from the paint it didn’t take much at all for them to become aroused again and again through the night.
“Did you use any kind of birth control?” Jade asked. “I was concerned because obviously, we are no longer on it here, and I was worried about Ko.”
Babette looked at Jade and felt like an idiot, “No, I wasn’t thinking about it until now. Oh no, do you think? I’m not used to having to think about it.”
“Well, men are on birth control here, so maybe Mir thought about it.”
“Is Ko on birth control?”
“No.”
“Then, how did you?”
“Well, he said since we were breaking all kinds of laws already by witnessing your wedding in the Underworld, being from different classes, oh and apparently some man on the Kzi has put a ban on me, what’s a few more crimes, so he came everywhere but inside me.”
“I didn’t need that last detail, Jade, honestly.”
“Well, it was sexy. I didn’t mind.” Jade looked at her friend’s face, “I’m assuming you and Mir didn’t even talk about it?”
“We didn’t. I was too focused on just getting married. I assume he was too.”
“But if he is the god of what, peace?”
Babette nodded.
“Then he probably can control when you get pregnant. He can probably make you pregnant from across the galaxy.”
“Stop. I don’t think it works like that. I had never seen him do any magic until last night.”
“Was it magical being with him?” Jade asked whimsically.
Babette laughed, “Only th
e same magic as when you are with someone you really love. It wasn’t like I was with a god. He was just a man. I’m sorry to disappoint you.”
Jade stood up, “Well, when it’s my wedding. I am going to be sure to make you do a lot of crazy things. You can count on it.”
Babette stood up and gave her friend a hug, “Thank you so much for being there for me.”
That night when Babette was tucked up in her single bed at House Human, she took out her IC and sent Mir a picture of her in bed, her blonde hair spread out on her pillow, the necklace he gave her visible on her naked neck and the daisy next to her face. She sent the image with the caption,
I miss you more than I have ever missed anyone or anything.
When he didn’t reply immediately, she set her IC on her bedside table and turned out her lights. And before she fell asleep, she couldn’t help but reminisce about her pitch-black wedding night.
Mir came off duty and entered his quarters. He loosened the top of his uniform and looked at his IC. He had seen that Babette had messaged him before, but he had wanted to save it. He was having an incredibly stressful day. Captain Kara had been very bold, disobeying orders and almost starting a war. It threw the entire fleet of. Admiral Tir had ordered her and the other Captains to meet on his ship. Apparently, she had been giving a public punishment despite being pregnant.
This caused even more disruption when news spread, and Mir had had a difficult time keeping his team on the bridge focused while the senior officers were away. He didn’t think for a second that Admiral Tir would harm his human wife. He did believe that it could be a prelude to some naughty sexual activities, though. And he was surprised that not everyone jumped to that conclusion, especially knowing those two. But as it was, everyone was caught up in the drama questioning if their soon-to-be-Emperor had really been seduced by witchcraft by the human and lost his mind, gently whipping a pregnant woman.
But Mir, like his captain, believed she deserved it anyway. Granted, she was correct, and she did save them days of reconnaissance, but had she been wrong, she would have started a war. As Admiral Tir had said to her before the punishment, ‘There is no place for these sneaky human tactics in the Alliance.’
